1934 Rare photograph of Wally Westmore, one of the greatest early Hollywood make-up and special effects pioneers, as he works on the body of actress Earl Carroll. He was using a form of body paint which he invented with an early air-brush gun (again of his invention) both of which make this photograph an incredibly important piece of Hollywood history. The Westmore's were rarely the subjects of studio images, making this a gem for collectors! Issued by Paramount and dated on the front text from the studio.
