"chrismana0" bought this and then decided he couldn't pay for it. So here it is again. I bought this from a gentleman who found it in a storage locker that he purchased, which was full of high-end items. I rocked it and it took right off. I wore it for 24 hours and it is running great and keeping time. I believe the serial number places this watch in the 1988 range. I have no service history, but a watch of this age could probably use a service / cleaning. 18K bezel and stainless steel case. The champagne dial is in great shape. Stick indices. Jubilee bracelet. The crystal is great. The case is very good other than lots of light scratches on the case back. I am guessing from scraping off the green sticker that came on these. Who knows? But these are light enough that maybe they would buff out? There are, what I am guessing to be, watchmaker service notations written on the inside of the case back. The bracelet has very fine, very minor scratches typical of some normal use. This watch is pre-owned, but it is a very nice looking Rolex overall. Two of the dog ears on the ends of the bracelet are marked "455 B". The reference number is 16233 (cal. 3135, 31 jewels movement). Between the 6 o'clock lugs it is marked " STAINLESS STEEL" as well as the serial number "R753---". I have not shown the last three digits in the serial number as a fraud prevention measure. Signed screw-down Oyster crown. Quick set date at first stage of crown. The date also changes crisply just rotating the hands through 24 hours. The bracelet is well marked "REGISTERED SWISS MADE  M11 STEELINOX 62523 H 18". I didn't notice for a while, but when taking pictures the light was just right and I found a monogram - 3 initials - engraved on the clasp. The first letter is a little hard to read, but It looks like "JMM". There is no box, papers, etc. This auction is for the watch only. 36mm case. The watch, in its entirety (bracelet, case, movement and crystal), weighs 100.85 grams on my little, uncertified digital scale. Not sure how much of that is 18K.
