Silk Yarn Burnt Orange 1 Hank 1.6 oz for Knitting or Crochet
1 hank of soft yarn. I would call the color burnt orange.
I believe this is 100% silk based on the burn test results of the fiber below:
- Burns quickly but doesn't melt
- Smells of burning hair, but not as strong an odor as wool
- Stops burning when removed from flame
- Residue: Black hollow bead that can be crushed to black powder

I cannot guarantee the fiber content, but based on the burn test, I do believe this is 100% silk yarn.
I believe this would be considered Super-Fine weight (approx. 24 WPI around a 1-3/8" ruler).
