This is a copy that includes a misprint and was later recalled; on page 38/39 there is a paragraph missing in the entry on "Hippogriff" (see photos) which was added in subsequent printings. 

The book is in VERY NEAR FINE condition: tight binding, sharp corners with just a bit of pressing to the foot of the spine and some light scuff marks to the title box on the front board (common with this title due to the gilding used).
