Considered the poster king: Engel Verkerke

The former communist Engel Verkerke felt a need around the mid-1950s to brighten up the drab post-war living environment. He decided to publish reproductions of artworks that would be accessible to a large public with a limited budget.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are figures in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible. The Lamb of God/Lion of Judah opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses, all of the horsemen save for Death are portrayed as being human in appearance.

CONDITION:

Top and bottom have wear. Corners have holes in them. Small tear on the top edge, and a larger tear on the bottom is taped on the back. Small spot on front from something. Refer to photos. But still looks great.
