The 1972 Hasbro Old Glory Stick Shifters, battery-powered funny cars with a launcher, are still operational and provide considerable entertainment. They would likely perform better with fresh batteries. To operate, attach a car to the launcher, engage the gearshift into first gear to rev up the motor, then shift through second and third gears to increase RPMs. Upon shifting into fourth gear, the car launches, attempting wheelies as it races across the floor. The cars are in good condition, although one is missing exhaust pipes on the engine, and the decals are faded or possibly never applied on the other. The launcher's decals are well-preserved, and the stick shift remains in good condition. Note that 4 D cell batteries are required but not included. While the original box is missing, the set still promises plenty of fun and play, or it can serve as an excellent display piece or addition to an SSP or toy collection.PLEASE SEE PICTURES AND VIDEO FOR FURTHER DESCRIPTION!
