On offer today is a most wonderful George VI Silver Coronation Spoon. Assayed in London.
It is dated 1937-year letter B.

A splendid item in great order.

Maker's mark is for Hicklenton and Phillips.

Length is 6.875 inches.
All hallmarks are deep and clear. Its weight is a hefty 64 grams (2.06 troy ounces) and this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. It is in very good condition.
Bowl is unworn and of perfect shape.
A very nice English antique lot.

Pattern is similar to seal top and in bears initials TH to finial.

Attractive pattern!!

It is engraved to stem with coronation inscription.

Please excuse any reflection in the images, this sometimes happens when using a camera tent outside in daylight.

Would be ideal for the collectors to enhance their collection.

Also ideal as a very special present.

Would doubtless cost an awful lot of money in a good retail outlet today..
