Rare Art Nouveau Bohemian blue glass vase with handles from the world renown bohemian art glass manufactory of Johann Loetz Witwe circa 1936, decor Papillon variation, design attributed to the famous Czech painter and glass artist Marie Kirschner.

Cobalt blue underlaying, colorless covering layer, melted splashes in silver-yellow, reduced and iridescence makes this lovely glass bowl a truly unique piece of bohemian glass art. The unusual iridescence applied "silberirs" handles in yellow/gold finalize the exceptional look of this 20th century glass bowl from Loetz Witwe.

6” high, 5” dia.
