The cotton and polyurethane outer shell is not a lightweight and flimsy cotton, but a slightly heavier weight for excellent water resistance.
Inner lining has interior slits/cut-outs for easy access to inside pockets.
The outer pockets are also constructed in such a way to give the wearer access to clothing underneath the coat
Plaid cotton lining has extra storage pockets as shown in the photos
Fully lined (slippery) nylon sleeves provide easy on/off access
