Antique 19th/20th C. Marquetry Box Square Burl Veneer with Rosette Variety of Woods
- For your consideration is a very charming small square box
- Finely crafted from fruit wood, layered with exotic burl veneer
- Exquisite marquetry work on top, using variety of wood to create a beautiful rosette outlined with a inlayed frame
- Inlayed band on the sides as well
- Good size for jewelry or else
- Circa late 1800's/early 1900's, most likely Italian
- All original
- Measurements: Approx. 3.75" x 3.75" x 1.5"
- Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos below. All original. Minor scuffs and a small outer layer split at the corner, consistent with age and use.
