Box is marked as Henkell. I believe it to be a cigar box humidor but let me know if I'm wrong. Note the three circle recessed areas for felt; wet the felt for moisture. Henkell on both sides and a light carving on front and sides. Has one hinge loose on back; needs a hammer. Measures 9"x8"x5".  You can see that the wood shows wear and reads, Desk Stuff on the lid.
