1973 Press Photo Prince Vlad Dracula's castle in Romania - pio26719

This is an original press photo. Romania ("Dracula's Castle"). This 15th Century castle is the highlight of "Dracula Tours" organized by the Romanian tourist organization. It was built by Romanian Prince Vlad Dracula, on whom the vampire villain character of Count Dracula is said to be based. The imposing edifice is located about 100 miles north of Bucharest. Since they began last year, the Dracula Tours have attracted 2,500 foreigners. Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 5-24-1973.
