I have bought and sold pocket watches for decades and I have never seen anything quite like this. I have had numeous goliath pocket watches but never have I had a verge fusee chained goliath pocket watch dating from the early - mid victorian period.

NOTE the other pocket watch photographed is not in this auction , it is for scale only and is a normal full sized gents victorian pocket watch.

Case is nickel and in excellent condition. Dial has a little chip on top. Dial has the name G Whitehouse Birmingham.
domed Glass has some scratches which I am sure can be polished out

Movement is not working , if you very gently nudge the verge wheel with a pin the balance turns and it ticks. Watch is fully wound. Fusse chain is present. please note,  I have the most amateur knowledge of watch movements. Movement is marked HENRY &CO.

Comes with a key

the watch is 8.5cm diameter , 3.3cm depth
