To confirm, this is an original shirt from 1958 and is NOT a modern copy.
Manufacturer is UMBRO. The neck labels show the endorsement of Matt Busby on the neck label, as well as local sport shop legen and icon Stan Seymour as the supplier with an address of 1 Market Street
Size of the shirt: the neck label states the size as being 26", so a very small child size, and it may have shrunk a little too!
The condition of the shirt is around VERY GOOD. It has faded of course and there's the odd loose thread and a couple of very minor marks.
You are buying a fantastic bit of not only a very early example of a Newcastle shirt here but also an important piece of football kit history.
