You are bidding on a fantastic 530mm x 400mm professionally produced colour litho print of a 1933 SS1 Tourer. Jaguar car founder William Lyons was keen to progress from being a recognised coachbuilder and 1933 launched his own SS marque, taking its name from his original venture, Swallow Sidecars. During the 1930's he would launch a number of superb vehicles with a strong sporting pedigree. The second world war and the sinister association to the "SS" term called for a post war rebrand and Jaguar cars were established. The SS1 tourer shown was a true 80mph sports tourer putting in a very special category of pre war vehicles.
