This is an unusual 70mm diameter very good  example an old Railway guards handlamp reservoir as used in the steam days  .  It stands 115 mm tall over the attached brass sheet reflector . It does not have the normal slide fixing bracket to the rear but is located on a square base  77 x 77mm . Central (push fit ) Aperture is the standard 24.5 mm diameter - It is a nice solid, as used tidy example ready for that special lamp Please check photos and dimensions .

Not often seen these days .
