Vintage Onyx Alabaster Marbled Bookends Set of 2 Carved Stone Mexican Sombrero Siesta Sleeping Southwest Boho Mexico Folk Art 6"

Condition:
This is a pair of onyx stone carved bookends.  They are made in Mexico.  They are sleeping Mexicans taking a siesta under their sombreros.  They have their backs to one another and their heads bowed.  They are quite colorful with lots of marbling and variation in the natural stone.  Each is unique.  They measure 6" tall x 5" long x 3" wide.  Each bookend weighs 2 lb 11 oz.  The combined weight is 5 lb 10 oz.  They are in very good condition.  there is a little chipping along the rim of their sombreros and on some of the edges but it is nothing that detracts from the beauty of this natural stone.  It is difficult to detect, except by touch.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this pair of sleepy Southwest fellas.
