On auction, we have a vintage big shirt from legendary designer Issey Miyake (1938-2022). This is made of his famous pleated polyester, his "reinvention" of the Italian Mario Fortuny silks. This is a basic black collared shirt with a button front. The oversized shirt can also be worn as a jacket.
This is an excellent example of the genius of Issey Miyake. You will wear this all year around and never travel without it. These are no limits to its versatility.
The labels are "Issey Miyake", "Made In Japan No. IM98-FD906 Size M 100% Polyester" and "Machine Wash". I measure this as approximately 19" across the shoulders, 44" around the bust, 46" around the body, and 26 1/2" long with 23" sleeves.
This appears to be in excellent condition. It may, or may not, have been worn. The fabric appears clean and crisp. I see no damages or flaws.  As I am not an expert, please see my photographs for more description.
This belongs to my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with many of her treasures. This is from her aunt's estate.
Just for fun, I've also pictured this with a matching short skirt (last 2 pictures. I have the skirt on a separate auction at this time. Makes a great outfit!
I will be happy to answer any questions and, of course, combine your shipping when possible.
