PINE TREE SHILLING TRIBUTE

This coin was specially produced for the May 2024 Central States Numismatic Society (CSNS) convention.  It was pressed from pewter blanks on a jewelers' rocker press at the show.  A minimum of 500 were commissioned on pewter, with a possible maximum around 800 coins depending on demand at the show.  (One coin was pressed in gold, and 100 in silver; I do not have these available for sale). 

The coins feature an inscription denoting the CSNS show in the inner ring surrounding the old original date (1652) on the reverse.  The coin is expected to be pressed for future events, but the inner-ring inscription will be changed.

The coins are individually rolled by hand, so they may have flaws or be slightly uneven.  The photo depicts both sides of a representative sample; your coin may look slightly different.
