Madison, Wisconsin, October 18 - Police use sticks to rout students - Police used tear gas and night sticks to break up antiwar demonstrations on University of Wisconsin campus in Madison Wednesday. Sit-in was staged to protest job recruiting on campus by Dow Chemical Company, maker of napalm for Vietnam War. Some demonstrators were bloodied in the melee and detective was hit in face with brick.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 10-10-1967.
