1989 Press Photo City of New Orleans main water intake damaged by ship.

This is an original press photo. About 3:00 a.m. Thursday, a large ship rammed one of the City of New Orleans main water intake dock at river near Orleans/Jefferson boundary. The ship continued down river despite of the severe damage to the dock area. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 06-15-1989.
