10 Old Railroad Tie Date Square Nails recessed Numbers 1930-1939 from Pa used

These nails likely were used on Pa railroads.

• Galvanized railroad numbered nails from 30 to 39. They were used by railroads to date when the ties were put in. They were put in the end of the tie when new ties were laid down
• There are ten nails dated from 30 to 39
• The #31 and #32 are a raised number.
• Some are round nails
• 3 are 30
• 2 are 31
• 2 are 32
• 1 is 33
• 1 is 37
• 1 is 39
• The nails were hammered in and removed so some are bent
• They would give a neat rustic look to a project.
• All the heads are shown so look closely.
• They have rust and some were wire brushed and cleaned.
• They are used and partly bent. 
• The  nails are  2 1/4” to 2 1/2" long.
  
•  The heads are around 5/8" square 
• The nails are 1/4" square and taper down.
  
• Two are round nails.
