I cannot quite exp[laion the feeling I got when I switched on this nearly 65 year old radio.\
At first just the front light, to show the tuning dial movement illuminated, then as the valves warmed up, music started to play. The tone and somehow the very ambiance in the room changed and all focus was on this amazing device, still working despite not being disturbed this millennium at least.
