Olympus M System 200mm 1:4 E-Zuiko Auto-W Lens, made in Japan, Silver Nose, in Mint condition and works fine, 8 blade aperture is nice and clean, glass looks all superb and is nice and clear
Very Rare Lens marked as M System rather than the more common OM System
M System was originally used by Olympus in 1972 but after a dispute with Leica (who had their own M System Cameras) it meant that Olympus added new front rings with OM System instead of M System from February 1973 onwards and as such these early lenses are ultra scarce especially the 2.8/35 version, only 7900 of these were made
M System lenses also have slot head screws to rear mount rather than cross head on later lenses
