This vintage Cheney train case is a snapshot of history.  It still has the stickers from the Cunard White Star British shipping line.  Although Cunard White Star was subsumed by Cunard in 1949, two of the last Cunard White Star ships remained in service:  the MV Georgic until 1956 and the MV Britannic until 1960.

This train case is in remarkably good condition.  Everything is original.  The exterior shows signs of travelled miles and years, while the interior is almost pristine.  The frosted-edge mirror is clear and clean with some wear on the top and bottom edges.   The interior fabric is in great shape, with minimal signs of wear and only one tear on the upper edge of the main compartment.  There is no smell of mildew, tobacco, or cosmetics.

The handle of the case is embedded with NOTON.  The locks are functional; however, no key was attached to this luggage.
