1961 Press Photo CBS correspondent Daniel Schorr arrested in East Berlin

This is an original press photo. East Berlin - Columbia Broadcasting System Correspondent Daniel Schorr (shown in this recent file photo) was arrested and held for 90 minutes by Communist Police 8/13. Schorr and an amateur photographer from San Francisco, Calif., Eric Harris, were picked up at Friedrich Street elevated railway junction and told it was forbidden to take photographs on stations. The police released the men after exposing Harris' film and examining their passports. (Germany)Photo measures 9 x 7.25inches. Photo is dated 08-13-1961.
