Victorian Antique Black Jet Beaded Passementerie Trim Yoke Collar Belt Lot 4 Piece

This lot of antique Victorian era black jet beaded passementerie trim yoke collar belt dates from the late 19th century. It is made of a variety of black jet glass beads strung on a brown rope cording and also hand sewn onto black fabric, sheer net. This beautiful beaded passementerie trim lot includes 4 pieces which would have been used as added decoration on a dress, bodice, cape, coat. Included in the lot are two beaded belts measuring 30 inches long, 28 inches long and both are 2 inches wide, missing their buckle claps, closures. There are two beaded fabric remnants, one yoke collar with cutout neckline sewn closed into a circular shape and a sleeve cuff fragment, both are backed onto black silk and have a beaded decorative spiral swirl pattern design. All of the beaded trim is in fair as-is condition, with missing beads, loose threads and frayed cut edges (see close-ups). Great for upcycling and restoration repairs. This is truly a wonderful lot of antique Victoriana beaded art!
