Meet Sarah Beth,

   She grew up in the 1940's. She was raised that all girls had to be prim and proper at all times. Her dad was very strict and his children had to follow his rules or they would be punished. Her parents took her and her siblings to church every Sunday. She had to help her mom with house work, cooking, tending to the garden, canning veges. and help take care of her younger siblings. As she got to be around sixteen, she was told that she had to meet a good Christian boy and she could only go on dates that were chaperoned by her parents or his parents and after a year they could be  married and then settle down and make a family of her own. That was the plan that her parents planned for her but she just didn't have the heart to tell them that she figured out that she doesn't like boys. In that day, no one "came out as gay". Any feeling like that were hidden and never spoke of because it was an evil thing to do. When she turned twenty-one and still hadn't met a nice man, her parents gave her a talking to and told her that she needed to try harder to meet a nice man that could take care of her. When she gently tried to explain to her parents that she didn't really want to get married but that she would like a girlfriend instead, they were appalled and ashamed of her.  They decided to quietly disown her and send her away. They found a family a couple towns away that were looking for a live in mother's helper / nanny and they made her leave and go take the job. After she left home, her parents had no contact with her ever again. She grew to love the family that she worked for. There were four children that she took care of and helped with the cleaning and cooking as well. She really connected with the mother and they became close friends. After a few years, the father / husband passed away and the mother, her friend, asked her to stay with her and continue helping her. During the next year, her and her friend grew very close and both developed feelings for each other. They started secretly dating and then moved into one bedroom together but Sarah Beth also kept her own bedroom for appearances. No one ever knew that they were a couple and they grew to love each other deeply. They stayed together for many years and had a wonderful, loving relationship and were happy together. Sarah Beth had a long, happy life with her girlfriend / wife and she passed away from cancer when she was  65.  She is so very sweet, kind and loving. She has a strong, loving, positive energy about her. She has a way of making someone feel special and loved. She enjoys cooking, sewing, knitting, crafts, making candles and soap. She will make a good companion for anyone. She also will watch over your family and children with love and protection. She is good at giving good advice. She is so very special and now needs a loving home. I know you will love having her apart of your family. She has turned our lights on and off, turned our t.v. and music on and off, opened and shut doors and my kitchen cupboard doors as well. She tends to make noises like a knocking or scratching. She has communicated so far through pendulums, dreams, making noises, lighting up cat balls & flashlights, spirit boards. She is waiting for you. 

  The doll is from Sandra Kuck. She is from The Precious memories Collection. She is 16" high and has blue eyes and a sweet, gentle face. She has dark brown hair that is up in a bun with hanging ringlets on the side. She is wearing a long, light blue dress that has white lacy trim and dark blue ribbon belt. She has bloomers and her blue shoes are porcelain. She is absolutely beautiful.
