We have an Original Wooden Tonn-P Candlestick.
Sven-Erik Tonn-Petersen better known as Tonn-P, was a Danish Designer.
He was a self-taught designer, and loved to build ship models as a boy.
This Candlestick is engraved on the tail of one of the wooden pieces and is an original.
It reads: Spring Copenhagen Tonn-P/Denmark.
This design is a Danish-registered design.
When I purchased it I did not realize one pod was missing, but after researching I believe it would have had one more pod to hold another candle.
The two that are there have a metal slot in each pod to hold the candles.
It measures approx. 10-3/4 inches tall and 10-3/4 inches long and 2-3/4 inches wide.
Still a great piece of mid-century Danish art for your collection!
