Vintage Wolford Perlon 20801 RHT 9.5 Stockings in Mink15 denier The Suspense is BNIP

If you are not used to stocking sizings :

They are really important because of the lack of stretch in older 100% nylon stockings

There is some stretch obviously but not a lot

You really need to take account of the foot length because the Foot of the Stocking will be shaped

Here it is 9.5 – provided in inches = 23.5 cm – 24.8 cm

This sits within the lower end of modern Medium size range

IF the Foot length : Toe to Heel does not sit within that range

Then these are not going to fit comfortably !

These are also marked as being Long

This should indicate that the length of the stockings from the Heel to the Welt

can be expected to be 33 inches long

Perlon is still made today but it has not been used to make stockings since the early 1970s we think

These days it seems to be used to make certain styles of watch strap

Art Style 20801 these are in identical packaging to the (older) 54204 and (older still) 5415

Nylon 100% for a vintage seamless look

15 denier is an estimate

These were made in Austria

New in (slightly damaged) packaging

There are multiple very small impress tears to the inner paper in three locations to the left and front of the pack and the inner card around which the product is wrapped is showing extensive creasing on the same side as if they have been placed in a drawer with slightly insufficient space

The closure is a little untidy and the colour label is not been placed on the pack straight

Sizing is not shown on the rear of the packet
