This is an ANTIQUE CARVED HORN SNUFF BOX that has an (unverified) Identified 19th C Owner. A quick google search did not produce any matches.

This piece came from an Ohio Valley estate. It is simple construction of HORN???? The lid and the base are wood. This piece has been handled a lot and has wonderful patina. It may have had a little knob at sometime? It’s very neat. Very old and been very loved.

It measures about 3.5” long x 2” wide x 1.75” tall.
