Descriptions
Please ensure it meets with your
requirements, sizes are provided on each listing, we welcome questions from
anyone who may be unsure about any part of the description, or who may require
clarification on materials, colours, makes, models, etc. All descriptions are
as accurate as possible from the information to hand. Some of our items come
from home/office clearances where background or make/model information may be
missing or limited, your questions will ensure buyer’s satisfaction is
achieved.
Items are cleaned prior to
listing where required, and any Electricals are PAT tested, (portable appliance
testing), and details logged as required, some stepped power plugs do not
require testing due to their low voltage. The PAT test will confirm the item is
in a good, safe order at the time of the test. Cookers cannot be PAT tested,
due to the nature of the cable, and we recommend buyers ensure a qualified
electrician installs the item.
Fridges, Freezers and Washing
Machines are tested prior to listing, which includes ensuring ice forms where
required, items cool, and washing/spin cycles are tested.
Returns
Policy
Returns are accepted under the
ebay rules and Kent Re-Users own policy, the buyer remains responsible for any
costs incurred in returning the item unless faulty or damaged in transit. If
collected or delivered, please ensure you are happy with the item prior to
either leaving with the item, or accepting it. We do not provide discounts or
refunds without returning items.
Items purchased may be returned within
30 days of the item being collected or delivered. A full refund (including any
postage costs, where applicable) will be offered providing the item is returned
in the same condition as purchased, including any packaging, boxes, manuals,
keys, power leads or any other item associated with the item in question shown
or detailed in the listing. If you are unhappy with any purchase, please
contact us as soon as possible by Ebay message.
Delivery
& Postage/Courier Costs
Items with Royal Mail or Courier
delivery charges quoted, or stating ‘free delivery’, will take precedence over
our own delivery charges. If the item is too large to post via Royal Mail, or
courier, we do offer delivery as follows.
We can deliver items that have a sale
price of £40.00 or more, or a combination of items with a total sale value of £40.00
or more, within the Kent area as follows:
Standard Delivery £25.00.
Large/Heavy items requiring three
persons lift, i.e Piano’s, Safe’s etc £40.00
Please contact us if you require
a delivery outside of the Kent area, our vehicles do not meet the Ultra Low
Emissions Zones requirements, surcharges/tolls will be payable in these Zones
and will need to be added to the delivery charge. We unfortunately no longer
deliver to London.
Deliveries are only made during
working hours at a mutually convenient date/time. Please note some long
distance destinations may require an overnight accommodation charge, where
health and safety would require a sleep break.
We are also happy for customers
to arrange their own courier to collect, please ensure our contact details are
passed onto the courier to enable collection to be arranged. Most courier
companies will only accept an item if it is boxed or packaged, unless a private
man & van courier, please contact us first to ensure the item in question
can be packaged. We are unable to accept any liability for items damaged or
lost once collected by a courier arranged by the purchaser.
Items sent via Royal Mail or
Hermes/UK Mail will be packaged to the best of our ability using bubble
wrap/plastic covering/padded envelopes where appropriate. Liability for loss in
transit cannot be accepted unless written notification (email/message is
sufficient), is received within 7 days of despatch. All items are despatched
within 3 working days or sooner of the item ending or payment being received.
Please notify us of any damage in transit within 48 hours of receipt.
The General Manager’s decision
with regard to providing refunds is final and every effort will be made to
ensure customer satisfaction within the above parameters.
Collections
Collections for successful
bidders are available Monday and Thursday 9:00am – 16.30pm excluding Bank
Holidays, which is a Tuesday after the Bank Holiday. We aim to arrange
collections around deliveries and house/office clearances, which we undertake
on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s & Friday’s. We will try to be as flexible as
possible, but cannot arrange collections on Sunday’s or Bank Holiday’s, and are
unable to arrange evening collections. If you wish to collect on one of our
days allocated for clearances/deliveries, please contact us and we can arrange
a collection at a specific time during the day where possible.
Please refrain from purchasing items and then messaging
to advise you can only collect on an evening or a Sunday. We will try to be as flexible as possible but
unfortunately, it is not cost effective to open the office outside of working
hours when the cost will far outweigh the value of the item purchased. It is
always best to contact us prior to purchase if you are unable to collect during
our working hours.
All items must be collected within two weeks of purchase, unless a
later date has been agreed by Management prior to purchase. We are not able to be a storage facility,
space is limited.

Sunday Closed
If you make a mistake with a
purchase or bid and change your mind prior to the item ending, or after the
item has ended, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements for
the purchase or bid to be cancelled via Ebay. It is an easy process and will
not affect your feedback in any way.
