Edwardian White Cotton Muslin Irish Crochet Lace High Neck Collar Shirtwaist Blouse

This antique Edwardian era white cotton muslin Irish crochet lace high neck collar shirtwaist blouse dates from 1910. It is made of an off white ivory color sheer woven cotton muslin fabric, with pintuck pleats and handmade Irish crochet lace with a dense heavily created raised three dimensional flower leaf design, connecting thread picot ornamented bars and a detailed meshwork. This lovely lace shirtwaist blouse has a Irish crochet lace yoke high neck collar, cuffs, long sleeves, decorative crochet button trim accents, crochet button closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 17 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 42 inch waist, 20 inch long sleeves, 15 inch back and 13 inch neck. It is in good condition, with only a tiny mended repair on the front and a few frayed small holes patched on the back bottom waistband (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique wearable art!
