CANADA 30a Mint 15¢ greenish grey P11½x12 Large Queen $2,500

1873-1876 15c greenish grey Queen Victoria Large Queen issue, perf 11½x12, mint hinged with large part matte original gum, potentially on unwatermarked Pirie paper but offered as cheaper variety in case it is not (needs to be compared to a watermarked stamp to be 100% certain). 

There is a bit of perf soiling at top which can be seen in the scan with the black background, otherwise this is quite an attractive example of this VERY RARE MINT STAMP with deep rich colour. Many "mint" examples are uncancelled examples used on mail which typically have a somewhat washed up colour. This one is NOT one of these - it's a real mint stamp! Very cheap at the start price!
