A 2022 elephant ear hybrid that will amaze your yard with its beautiful, colorful veins has recently been released. The Waikiki variety is interesting to observe develop because it's always changing: The leaves begin their life as plain old green before acquiring their white veins and purple dot. The purple dot then gradually becomes the white veins. The veining finally mostly changes to purple. Please take note that when elephant ears develop, their characteristics become more distinct.
