Firing a salute as she leaves Portsmouth Harbour in July, 1985. This was during a visit of the Italian Fleet and the Duke of Genoa to Portsmouth.

Completed in 1885 for service as the Royal Yacht, this vessel was actually classified as a light cruiser in the Royal Italian Navy. She was armed with six 57mm and two 75mm guns. Before the First World War, she was converted into a repair ship for the Royal Italian Navy and renamed "Vulcano." 

Scrapped in 1923.
