Edwardian White Muslin Drawn Thread Irish Crochet Lace Jabot Poet Shirtwaist Blouse

This antique Edwardian era white muslin drawn thread Irish crochet lace jabot poet shirtwaist blouse dates from 1915. It is made of a sheer white cotton fine muslin fabric, with drawn thread cutwork squares, white polka dot hand embroidery details and Irish crochet lace ruffle trim edging the jabot style front collar, sleeve cuffs. This lovely lace shirtwaist blouse has a poet shirt style with frilly lace ruffle jabot front, a fold over collar, long sleeves with rolled cuffs, an attached belted tie strap waistband on back, mother of pearl button closures down the front and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 21 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 36 inch waist, 22 inch long sleeves and a 14 inch back. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
