This listing is for a Vintage / Antique 6 Aires VICENTE FAVENTIA BARREL ORGAN / Piano built by hand in Spain. The case is completely Hand Painted in lovely earthen tones with pink flowers & leafy vines. This matches the hand embroidery on the cloth in the front section. It appears to be fully working, with a 6 song lineup- but does seem to need tuned. It works by the user cranking the front crank, which rotates the cob & triggers the corresponding piano keys. It is an inventive and unusual design that is very fun visually and audibly. The crank on the side switches between the correspondingly labeled songs, with the mere fractional movement of the cob being enough to align the spokes to play a completely different medley. That mechanic in particular has always fascinated me when it comes to these crank organ hurdey gurdeys & music boxes as well. Interestingly, this one is mostly wood, even many of its gears!

I am unsure the exact year of production, but I believe the 1920s/30s or before. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor.

It is in good condition, with no major damage. The front cloth has a tear, and I believe a back cloth is missing. The piano mechanism needs its strings tuned, but I wager it would function just fine after. No major areas of bent / missing spokes on the cob.
