*My wife needs this off our drive, so I have lowered the price. This is now the cheapest 2005 RX 300 on eBay. No offers accepted. The first person to offer me what I'm asking gets it.*

Here we have my 2005 Lexus RX 300 SE. I bought this car last year with the hopes of making it into a camping car for my kids and me to go off on adventures. But we don't really need a car for only camping in. So sadly, after spending more than £2,000 on it this year, I am reluctantly selling it. I will miss the heated seats, which are the best and warmest of any car I have ever owned. Both still working perfectly.

It is in good, used condition. And for a 19 year old car still holds up well. But there are minor scratches and some small dings here and there, as to be expected. The leather seats are in great condition, no scratches, or tears. All windows and locks work. Radio, sat nav and reverse camera all work great.

In the past year the car has had:

Full service.

New timing belt/water pump.

Late last year the gearbox oil was changed. Gear changes are super smooth.

Brand new Yuasa, high quality battery within the last 2 months.

Brand new tyres all around. They are General Grabber AT3. Less than 500 miles on them.

Late last year I had all 4 wheels refurbished in anthracite.

Fresh MOT last week.

I am going to take a huge loss, but at least you know the car is in good shape and likely to last you a long time before anything major needs doing. You could spend a bit less on the same model, but it probably will not have had all of the above done in the last year.

The bad points:

The rear tailgate motor is on its way out. The tailgate can go down with the press of a button, but most of the time does not like to open. It starts to open by itself and then stops.

The front nearside strut is on its way out. Normal driving is fine, but going over big pot holes and you can hear that it needs doing.

The check engine light comes on and goes off again at random times. Right now it is off. My mechanic hooked it up to his scanner and said it's throwing an O2 sensor code.

The nearside rear brake light has become dislodged from its housing and is not fully secured as it was when new.

The AC could use a refresh. It is clearly low. But I haven't bothered with it.

The TVs in the rear do not work. I have no idea why. But the equipment is all there if you want to have a go at fixing.

That's all that I can think of.

Rest assured that you will be buying a car from a honest person, who has laid out all of the car's faults and good points.

If you're a dealer, please don't even bother getting in touch. If I even suspect you're a dealer trying to get a good deal and haggle me down I will simply walk away. This car should go to a person who needs a cheap, reliable car, from an honest person.

Comes with 2 keys.
