Written by Charles Grey, a British maritime historian.

Edited by Lieutenant-General Sir George MacMunn, a British general and scholar who was appointed Warden of Sackville College.

CONDITION

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark. A small split in the cloth at the tail of the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light spotting and age toning to the endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate to the front endpaper.
