Vintage early 1970's local Oley, Pennsylvania heavy clear glass 1/2 gallon milk bottle with an original 2-part plastic pouring spout lid cap that clips or snaps on. The 10 1/4" tall thick glass bottle has red silkscreen silk screen silkscreened screened ACL applied color label red printing and Amish Pennsylvania Dutch Mennonite graphics - "Oley Turnpike Dairy, Oley, Pa" and on the other side "Farm Fresh Milk Produced And Processed In The (Pennsylvania Dutch "Heart" graphic ) Of The Valley". The bottom edge is embossed with "Half Gallon Liquid", "Reg. Sealed JG OBO" and on the bottom "11". The sides have molded in recessed hand grips with ridges. The neck has the original red plastic carrying / holder handle loop strap. The bottle still has the original red and cream color snap-on two-part plastic pourer lid cap marked "Caplugs, 8, NAS-834-64" and "Sun Ind., 1, Do Not Boil, 48 mm". The cap has a split in it as pictured. The bottle is in excellent condition with great colors and graphics. It displays beautifully with minor use and storage wear as pictured.
