The official State Stone of Florida, Tampa Bay Agatized Coral is the fossilized remains of ocean creatures from 25-38 million years ago.

Our collection of rare ocean coral was collected in the Tampa Bay Area between the 1960’s through 1970’s. Before being made into a gemstone, this coral stone looks like white sandy limestone rocks - the treasure is on the inside!

The raw stones are tumbled for 30 days, sorted, ground on lapidary wheels or sliced, then tumbled for another 30 days, sorted again and, in some cases TUMBLED AGAIN! Quite a long process for a gorgeous outcome.
