This eight channel, Turbo HD TV CCTV DVR supports 8 cameras of up to 8mp resolution as well as two additional IP cameras with up to 6 mp resolution. It comes with the usual great features you would expect from a Hikvision product such as plug and play support, latency fee 1080P video (dependant on coax cable length) and video encoding that saves space on your hard drive. Connecting your home CCTV system has never been so easy and with Hik Connect you can experience mobile phone viewing and connection to the internet with very little technical knowledge.

What Else You Might Need?

This is a complete system, if you do not select a HDD then there will be no recording, its highly recommend you select a HDD unless you have your own. A monitor is needed to view the CCTV however you can use a smart TV or connect to the internet and view on your smart device or PC. To connect to the internet and view online you will also need a LAN cable to connect the DVR to your Internet router or use a powerline adaptor. Also the cameras are waterproof and outdoor however like all CCTV cameras the connection to the cable is not waterproof. For outdoor use you might need a junction box or a deep base, click the picture above to go to the correct bases. Also you might want to add different cameras on to this DVR, no problem this DVR can handle TVI, CVI, AHD and CVBS(analog) cameras up to 8MP.
