A gorgeous, extremely tough, grade 66, 1953A $2 Legal Tender Star Note.

PMG has only graded 15 notes higher. TOP POP is grade 68 with only one note receiving that grade. Dealer to dealer for a grade 67 is over $400.

Only 66 notes have a grade 66. So this is a scarce grade, with the few notes that graded higher, are in the stratosphere price wise.

The note as you can see has extraordinary eye appeal.

Its paper is pristine crisp with razor sharp corners. Beautifully printed.

It has that clean appearance that is sought after for a FR: 1510*.

Many of the 1953A notes out there appear to look “as printed dirty”. This is not the case here.

Well worthy of its grade and fit for any high grade collection.
