WW2 Triple Ace CE “Bud” Anderson Autographed P-51 Old Crow Photograph! Mint!

CE “Bud” Anderson flew P-51 Mustang Fighter Planes in 1944 and 1945. He was credited with 16 ¼ kills during his two tours of duty in the Air Corps. After the war he became an Air Force test pilot and flew combat missions in Vietnam in the F-105 Thunderchief, also known as the Thud. The North American P-51 Mustang was one of the most remarkable fighter airplanes of WW2. Given its firepower (six .50 caliber machine guns), speed, maneuverability, and range it helped the American pilots clear the skies over Germany of the vaunted Luftwaffe. Anderson’s flying skills were such that he never suffered an abort or any combat damage during his tour of duty. At age 101, Mr. Anderson is also the last living triple Ace from WW2.

Item is an 8 x 10” black & white photograph of Anderson sitting on the wing of his P-51 Mustang named Old Crow. The photograph is in mint condition and Anderson has signed with black ink.  For his 100th birthday, Mr. Anderson was promoted to General, and he is the last surviving triple ace in the world.  This is his ACTUAL autograph, not a copy or autopen. The photograph is in mint condition.

But that is my commitment to my buyers for safe, secure and inexpensive shipping. I will happily combine shipping for multiple purchases. Photographs are triple protected placed inside a plastic cover, sandwiched in a manila folder and packed between two stiff cardboard sheets. The outside of the package is marked clearly DO NOT BEND!
