This antique Victorian era child's white windowpane plaid gingham check cotton lace ruffle dates from the late 19th century. It is made of a sheer white check cotton woven windowpane plaid pattern gingham fabric with embroidered eyelet lace ruffle flounce trim. This lovely lace children's dress has a loose fitting style with full short skirt length, ruffle flounce trim around the neckline, shoulders, sleeve cuffs, long full sleeves, a white silk ribbon bow trim on the skirt, mother of pearl button closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 22 inches long, with a 24 inch chest, 40 inch waist, 40 inch hips, 11 inch long sleeves, a 8 inch back and 12 inch neck. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana children's wearable art!
