Edwardian Embroidered Dotted Swiss White Cotton Lace Trim Puffed Sleeve Dress

This antique Edwardian era embroidered dotted Swiss white cotton lace trim puffed sleeve dress dates from 1910. It is made of a white sheer fine cotton dotted Swiss fabric with white raised embroidered polka dots, rose flowers and lace trim inserts. This lovely lace lawn dress is a long floor length with ruffled flounce bottom on the full skirt, a lace yoke ruffle trim neckline, short puffed sleeves with fitted lace cuffs, tiny carved mother of pearl button closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 55 inches long, with a 38 inch chest, 26 inch waist, 60 inch hips and a 13 inch back. It is in good condition, with a few tiny pin holes, a frayed hole on the back of the replaced waistband and several small breaks in the lace (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
