This antique Victorian era whitework broderie anglaise eyelet camisole corset cover top dates from 1890. It is made of a white cotton batiste fabric, with whitework raised padded satin stitch embroidery broderie anglaise eyelet cutwork lace. This lovely lace lingerie camisole corset cover undergarment is sleeveless, with a scalloped trimmed squared neckline, front back insert panel, hook closures down the front side opening, a single mother of pearl button closure on the front peplum skirted waist and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 22 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 24 inch waist and 13 inch back. It is in good condition, with only faint underarm discoloration. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana underpinnings wearable art!
