Vintage 1960s Egmond Lucky 7-Kansas Guitar

A reasonably good example of this iconic Egmond Arch-top guitar for someone who might wish to refurbish it to a higher standard and add an electric pickup which was my original intention, but I just have too much on at this moment in time. Conversely just keep the guitar as an acoustic instrument.

The only adjustment I made was to anchor the neck into a playable angle which necessitated shims (lightly glued) into the neck bolt spring recess& also under the lower cantilever neck  section which overhangs the body.

The fret ends will require rounding off as some are sharp on the convex style fretboard which probably dates this guitar to the mid to late 1960’s. The guitar body edging has slight ‘crazing’ and marks commensurate with the age of the instrument.

The neck reinforcement rod logo cover is missing on the headstock and the tuners are a new addition. Please check out the photos for visual inspection. Low start so grab a bargain!!

Guitar length 39 inches
