Item Description: I am pleased to offer this original hand-made heirloom Japanese Samurai sword. The blade is a Shinto wakizashi and is a bare blade. The blade is in Very Good condition and has a blade length of 17 inches (43cm). The hamon is a Bizen-style chu-suguha hamon that is present the length of the blade ending in a maru boshi. There are activities like ashi and yo in and along the hamon. The tang is mumei, or unsigned, and ubu, or unshortened.

There are no mountings with the blade. The blade is in Very Good condition. There are a few small micro nicks, a few small scattered spots of rust, and several scratches along the blades length. There are no major flaws like hagire. I think this sword would be a good project for someone looking to mount a sword.
